This is a great article on the advantages of shooting “Raw”
Raw is simply an uncompressed (or losslessly compressed) digital image file format; it’s often referred to as a digital negative because raw files themselves aren’t typically used as finished images but contain all the data necessary for creating a polished, final image.
Texture is all around us…can’t wait to see what you come up with. Have FUN!
You have 2 weeks to post your image. You can post your images right here on the blog.
Depth of Field is:
“the portion of a scene that appears acceptably sharp in the image. Although
a lens can precisely focus at only one distance, the decrease in sharpness is
gradual on each side of the focused distance, so that within the DOF, the
unsharpness is imperceptible under normal viewing conditions.”
