Welcome To The Shooters Gallery Photography Group Website!





Our main goal is to learn photography and photographic techniques from each other by sharing information and photographs we have taken. We also feel it’s important … and fun … to get out and photograph together and share the images to help each other learn by experiencing different shooting styles. This, along with occasional presentations and challenges, is what we’re about.

We invite everyone, at any level of experience, to join us at one of our meetings to find out if we might be the right photography group for you.

We are a newly formed group consisting of local photographers with experience ranging from novice to professional. Meetings are held on the last Thursday of each month throughout the year at Photo Connection of Colchester.

Yearly dues: $25.   We now have over 110 members!

See Bald Eagles from a variety of locations along the river followed by a soup/sandwich lunch at Oliver’s Tavern in Essex. [35 person limit per/date]

Meet at The Audubon Shop Return to Madison app. 1:15 PM or 8:30 AM at former Camelot Cruise boat launch in Haddam, before bridge
Transportation: Carpool (this is not a boat trip)
Price: $20.00 Price includes soup & sandwich luncheon at Oliver’s Tavern in Essex immediately following watch (app. 12 noon)
